The Opportunity
Within the IPM community, professional referrals happen informally, but without structure, visibility, or accountability. This created both missed opportunities and inconsistent experiences for members seeking introductions to top product roles. There was an opportunity to build a private, high-trust referral network that:

The Challenge
IPM initially partnered with an external development agency to build a referral app. After several months, the project had stalled. Despite financial investment and effort, the app was far from production-ready. Key issues included:
